Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara announced that Prison Commissioner Kovi Yakovi will be charged pending a hearing in the "Ben Gvir associates" case. The Attorney General's office stated that "the State Prosecutor's Office today informed Commissioner Yakovi that the Attorney General and State Prosecutor are considering filing criminal charges against him, pending a hearing, on suspicion of integrity offenses. Yakovi served in senior positions in the Israel Police and Prison Service, including as National Security Minister's security secretary. According to the suspicion, Yakovi transferred classified and sensitive information to Judea and Samaria District Police Commander Chief Superintendent Avishai Moalem regarding a covert investigation concerning him."
