A fire broke out in an open area in the southern Golan Heights, between Kibbutz Mevo Hama and Hamat Gader. Nine firefighting teams and eight aircraft are working to extinguish and contain the fire, alongside teams from the Nature and Parks Authority. Incident commander, Chief Fire Officer Shabi Peretz, said that 'this is a very large fire, developing under strong winds in topographically complex terrain.'
