Rabbi Eli Sadan, head of Eli Pre-Military Academy, was recorded saying he believes that only if Imcha Yisrael party chairman Ofer Winter crosses the electoral threshold "will Netanyahu have a full right-wing government." He also said: "At first I decided to stay silent, but they showed me that people are spreading that I'm saying not to vote for Winter because he won't cross the threshold - that's not true. I didn't say that, of course." The recording of Sadan, who is close to Winter, was distributed on his behalf. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Religious Zionism party chairman Bezalel Smotrich even came to Sadan's home to promote Winter's withdrawal from the race.
