Around 150 new immigrants from the United States and Canada are expected to land in Israel today. More than 1,100 immigrants from North America arrived in Israel during the month of August and more than 2,200 are expected to arrive by September. The immigration is facilitated by Nefesh B'Nefesh, the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration, the Jewish Agency, KKL and JNF-USA. The teams accompany the immigrants throughout the entire immigration and absorption process, from the preparation stage in their countries of origin until their landing in Israel and completion of the absorption procedures. Since the beginning of 2026, approximately 2,700 new immigrants have arrived in Israel from North America and August has been measured as the peak month in immigration figures. Footage showed some of the immigrants who have already landed in the country singing the national anthem.
