Macron: 'Plan to uproot Gaza residents is madness, we won't see the 'day after' like this'

|
French President Emmanuel Macron was interviewed by American network CBS and addressed Israel and the Trump administration's plan to encourage voluntary migration of Gaza Strip residents, calling it "madness." He added: "I think it's a big mistake and this is where I try to convince the administration that if we agree on the 'day after,' which includes a Palestinian authority and dismantling Hamas, then let's work on it today. If you agree that Israel will uproot these people, you will never see a 'day after.'"
