Rare footage of an Iranian fighter jet crash was posted on the Internet Saturday and went viral almost instantaneously.
The footage, which was apparently filmed during an Islamic Repub licmilitary parade in 2009, documents the jet spiraling out of control and crashing during a formation flyby.
Moment of the crash
The footage, which was also aired on CBS, shows the jet as it fumbled in mid-air before crashing into the ground in a great ball of fire. According to reports, seven people were killed in the crash.
The footage was reportedly taken by a C-130 aircraft participating in the flyby.
