Former Prime Minister Ehud Olmert's testimony beforethe Jerusalem District Court continued Monday, focusing on several allegations of financial improprieties on his part while in office.
Olmert lashed out at State Prosecutor Moshe Lador, saying that "some people are obsessed with trying to link me to fraud."
This "obsession," he alleged, "Has prompted some people to give scandalous interviews in the press about loans that I supposedly took but never repaid. Nothing could be further than the truth. And these things have been said against me by the very man who signed off on this indictment."
Olmert further rebuffed allegations regarding other loans he supposedly received from private sources while in office but failed to repot on, as required by a public official.
