Hostages as bargaining chips: Hamas wants to evacuate 200 terrorists from Rafah, Israel refuses

|
Shortly after reports that Hamas sources said they located three deceased hostages on the Israeli side of the Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip, Qatar's Al Jazeera network reported that mediators are working with Hamas and Israel to provide "safe passage" for terrorists remaining beyond the Yellow Line. In Jerusalem, for now, officials refuse this demand - saying the terror organization is essentially trying to "evacuate" 200 terrorists from the Rafah area under Israeli control. The suspicion is that even the announcement about locating the bodies, including publishing the name of one of them, was planned in advance, and now Hamas is effectively conditioning their return on safe passage for its terrorists.
