The Turkel Committee tasked with probing last year's IDF raid on the Gaza-bound flotilla appealed to the military advocate general on Monday in a request to review some 50 cases related to suspected violations of laws of war, which involved the death or injury of passengers on board the Marmara.
The committee, headed by retired Judge Yaakov Turkel, also filed a request for materials on criminal cases opened following the incident. Some of the materials were already handed to the committee and will be reviewed before the Sukkot holiday.

Last January, the committee published the first part of its report ,in which it determined that the Navy commandos acted reasonably, Israel followed the rules stipulated under international law, and the IHH activists were to blame for the violence on board the ship.
The committee also determined that Israel's blockade on the Gaza Strip was legal, and imposed in accordance with international law.
Earlier on Monday, Turkish media outlets reported that intelligence sources in Ankara handed the prosecutor in charge of the case a list of 174 names, mostly of Israeli soldiers who took part in the raid.
According to the reports, the soldiers were identified using footage from the ship and online social networks such as Facebook and Tweeter.
