A bit of a friendly banter: Israeli Ambassador to the UN Ron Prosor and Palestinian Observer Riyad Mansour decided to leave their differences aside for one night in favor of showcasing a healthy sense of humor, Yedioth Ahronoth reported Sunday.
The two entertained UN Chief Ban Ki-moon and fellow diplomats in what can only be described as a one-time stand up show during the UN Correspondence Association's annual gala dinner and dance last week.

Playing on the Palestinian demand for an independent state ,Mansour delivered the following lines: "I've waited long enough for my steak. I want it at a temperature of 67 degrees and I want the right to return it."
Ambassador Prosor was quick to reply, saying "The Palestinian will not get his steak until he sits at the table," referring to the Palestinian refusal to return to the negotiating table.
Prosor then joked again saying he was already feeling the spirit of Hanukkah "as such cooperation can only be a miracle."
