The Council on American-Islamic Relations condemned a firebomb attack on an Islamic center in New York City .
The group said about 80 worshippers were inside the Imam Al-Khoei Foundation on Sunday night when a Molotov cocktail was thrown at the building, damaging a door.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo also condemned the attack on the Queens mosque and three nearby sites, saying they "have no place in our open and inclusive society."
- Authorities were investigating the attacks as bias crimes. There were no injuries.
Police said three of the attacks involved Molotov cocktails made from bottles.
At 8 pm, a bottle was thrown at a bodega counter. Ten minutes later, a nearby house was damaged after possibly being set on fire.
At 8:44 pm local time, the mosque was targeted.
- At 10:14 pm, two bottles were thrown at a house used for Hindu worship services. They didn't explode.
