Hawaii governor: No significant waves yet; ports closed, all Maui flights canceled

|
Hawaii Governor Josh Green said that so far no significant waves have hit the island chain amid the tsunami warning issued following the powerful earthquake that struck Kamchatka in Russia's Far East. He updated that all commercial ports have been closed and flights to and from Maui Island have been canceled. However, he noted that no decision has been made to shut down the state's power grid.
