The Ministry of Health announced that a report was received about a person suspected of having Ebola who returned to Israel three days ago from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He sought medical treatment after developing fever and headache, and the Ministry of Health stated that at this stage it is only a suspicion. "The required tests are currently being conducted and results are expected within the next 24 hours," it was reported. "He is being treated in isolation conditions in accordance with professional protocols and according to the risk assessment that was conducted, and is being transferred to Rambam Medical Center, which has been designated as a specialized center for admitting suspected cases of this type." At the same time, an epidemiological investigation is being conducted to trace contacts.
