A rocket fired from Gaza exploded in an open area near Netivot, nearly two days after a ceasefire between Israel and Hamas went into effect. No injuries or damage were reported. Several hours later a Grad rocket fired at Beersheba was intercepted by the Iron Dome system.
On Wednesday night, two Grad rockets were fired at Beersheba prompting southern council heads to suspend studies at various cities in the region.
The IAF targeted a Gaza Strip terror hubs Wednesday night. The strike came in response to rocket fire on southern Israel .The IDF confirmed that the pilots hit their marks – a rocket launching site and a terror tunnel.
Palestinian sources reported that the strike took place in the east Gaza neighborhood of Zeitun. No injuries were reported.
