Qassam hits Sderot region; no injuries

Rocket fired from Gaza explodes in open area. No injuries, damage reported

A Qassam rocket fired from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open area near Sderot on Sunday evening. No injuries or damage were reported.
Earlier on Sunday, two rockets hit open areas near Netivot. There were no reports of injuries or damage.
Relative calm has been maintained in Israel's south in recent weeks since the last round of violence opposite Gaza terror groups last month. On Saturday the IDF successfully thwarted a rocket launching attempt.
