The Iron Dome system intercepted at least one rocket fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip on Thursday shortly after a siren sounded at the Hof Ashkelon Regional Council.
Later on, two other rockets were fired at the council, one of which was apparently intercepted. The second one has yet to be found. No injuries have been reported.

The escalation in the south began on Monday after three terrorists fired at workers at border fence .One worker was killed and two terrorists were hot to death.
A total of seven rockets hit Israel on Thursday and one rocket was intercepted over Ashkelon. Since Monday, no less than 130 rockets hit Israel's south.
