3 soldiers injured in blast on Gaza border

Explosive device hits IDF force engaging in routine activity near border fence in southern Strip; soldiers fire back at suspicious targets

Three Israel Defense Forces soldiers were injured Tuesday morning in an explosion which took place near the border fence in the southern Gaza Strip.
One of the troops was lightly to moderately hurt and is said to be suffering from a limb injury. He was evacuated to the Soroka Medical Center in Beersheba.

The two other soldiers sustained light wounds and received medical treatment on site. An IDF force fired back at suspicious targets.
The incident took place near Kibbutz Nirim in southern Israel .Palestinian sources reported of a strong blast caused by an explosive device east of the town of Khan Younis.
Heavy exchanges of fire were reported in the area.
