Man injured in Petah Tikva blast

Explosion leaves one man moderately wounded; police believe blast was caused by a bomb. Investigation ongoing

An explosion on Rambam Street in Petah Tikva left one man injured Monday.
The explosion, which took place near a residential parking lot on the street, is believed to be the result of an explosive device.

  • Police sappers and Magen David Adom paramedics were called to the scene. The man, 34, was rushed to the Rabin Medical Center in the city, in moderate condition.
Police forces are canvassing the area to eliminate the possibility that additional bombs have been planted in the area.
