Jerusalem District police arrested on Sunday two young girls on suspicion that they spray-pained anti-Christian slogans on a monastery and damaging vehicles in the capital last month.

The older suspect's remand was also extended until Thursday. Police presented to the court photos of items that were confiscated during a search of her home – allegedly linking her to the act.

The slogans, including "Jesus is a son of a bitch," were discovered in mid-December on the wall surrounding the Monastery of the Cross in Jerusalem 'sEmek HaMatsleva. The tries of three vehicles that were parked in the area were punctured, and the words "Happy Hanukkah
,victory for the Maccabees" were spray-pained on one of them.
Following the incident at Bar-Ilan, the girl said aid she would "not do anything differently" and outlined the extreme rightist doctrine that guided her.
"Maybe it's not politically correct and may seem a bit disgusting, but some people deserve it," she told Ynet after a video of the incident was released. "(Tibi) should say thank you; he deserves much worse; he deserves a death sentence. There have to be people who give the enemies of Israel what they deserve."
