The Sydney Morning Herald published on Monday a comprehensive report on Prisoner X, as did Der Spiegel.
According to the reports, at the time of his arrest, Zygier was carrying a disk containing sensitive information, which he planned to pass onto a Hezbollah informant.
According to the report, Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah knew about Zygier’s communication with the informant, who Zygier had tried to recruit as a double agent.
