"Just the thought of people preparing explosives in a laboratory in the middle of a residential area where innocent citizens live should concern us all," said chief of the Lachish District police Yoram Soffer.
Turgeman's attorney said that her client was cooperative. "He is a soldier with no criminal record," she said, "and I'm sure that police will perform their duties."
- Edri's attorney said that his client confessed to some of the allegations but denied others. "Things always seem bleak at first but slowly come to light. I'm sure that after police investigation it will be proved that my client's conduct wasn’t what the police are trying to portray."
