A hitchhiker's station in southern Israel became the scene of a racist "graffiti war" between unknown individuals – likely Jews and Arabs – who spray-painted hate slogans including "death to Jews" and "death to Arabs" as well as swastikas and slurs against Arab Knesset MemberAhmad Tibi .
The matter was reported to the police Tuesday morning though the graffiti had apparently been featured at the station for quite a while.

It is believed the graffiti were sprayed by different individuals on several different occasions.
Chief superintendent Ofer Shumer of the Kiryat Gat Police station said, "We view such expressions of hatred with the utmost severity and we shall employ all available means to track down the perpetrators."
