Earlier Saturday, Air Defense Commander Shahar Shohat visited the battery soldiers.
Both Israelis and tourists made it to Israel's north over the weekend, despite security alertness.
At the moment, the Home Front Command issued no special instructions to residents of the north. If the US launches an attack in Syria ,the HFC is expected to convene and issue emergency instructions.
  • Dozens of foreign press correspondents have also arrived at the vicinity of the border over the weekend. A UK reporter told Ynet that though he doubted reporters could see anything in case of an attack, the Israeli side of the border was the closest point for those who want to report seeing as Assad banned foreign press from his country at the beginning of the war.
