Two illegal migrants were arrested overnight Tuesday on suspicion that they raped a young woman in Haifa .

According to the investigation, the two migrants, who are in their 30s, are acquaintances the woman, who is around 27 years old. A senior Haifa Police official said that after a night on the town the woman accompanied the suspects to their home, where the three drank alcohol .At some point during the night the two infiltrators raped the woman, investigators believe.
The two men, who infiltrated Israel illegally, were arrested after the woman filed a complaint with local police .The men deny the allegations and claim the sex was consensual.
  • Also on Tuesday, police officers in Petah Tikva arrested a 59-year-old driving instructor who is suspected of committing indecent acts against a female student.
