IDF forces fired at two Palestinian approaching the fence in the northern Gaza Strip Monday.Thetwo were hit, one reportedly killed and the other apprehended by security forces, following a short chase.
Ashraf al-Kidra, a Palestinian health official, confirmed one was killed, but that his identity was yet to be determined. The fate of the other Palestinian in the shooting incident was unknown, and it was unclear if the Palestinians were militants or civilians, or if they were armed.

Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported that IDF aircraft were circling over the area where the incident took place.
