Hezbollah report reveals details of operative's assassination

Following assassination of Lebanese group's senior member, Al-Manar network reveals footage of scene, speculations regarding incident

The Hezbollah -affiliatedAl-Manar network presented a simulation of the assassination of Hassan al-Laqqis ,a senior member of the Lebanese group.
The network also presented what seemed to be the operative's bullet-ridden car, as well as footage of his house and its surroundings.

Security sources estimated, according to Al-Manar reports, that as soon as al-Laqqis was parking his car near his house, an operative assigned to watch the house signaled the assassins, who then assembled behind his car.

According to the simulation, while al-Laqqis was gathering his belongings from the seat next to him, the assassins shot five bullets at him and fled the scene.
The Al-Manar report noted that "the enemy monitored the movements of the Hajj Hassan and intentionally left traces in the scene of crime – shells and footprints." The report added that "Israel grew weary until it got its wish."
Hezbollah said on Wednesday that al-Laqqis was killed in Beirut's Hadath district, stressing that "the accusation is directed at the enemy, Israel."
A source close to Hezbollah's secretary general said al-Laqqis was very close to Hassan Nasrallah .
