Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported that a Paletinian man in his 20s was killed on Friday by Israeli gunfire in northern Gaza, near the border with Israel.
Health Ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Kidra in Gaza said 22-year-old Odeh Hamad was shot in the head Friday near the border between Gaza and Israel. Kidra said that three civilians were wounded by Israeli fire in a separate incident near the border as they hunted for birds.

Hamad's body was recovered to the east of the Beit Hanun area, the emergency services reported.
- Three other Palestinians were reportedly injured by IDF gunfire and were evacuated to a nearby hospital in the strip.
According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, military troops identified several suspects approaching the border fence on Friday afternoon and attempting to sabotage the fence.
The Israeli forces warned the suspects, eventually firing several warning shots, from which one of the suspects was hit.
