Four terrorists infiltrated Israel, IDF kills at least one

Terrorists likely entered Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council through a tunnel; heavy IDF artillery fire at Gaza, troops search for possible additional terrorists.
Yoav Zitun|Updated:
Four terrorists infiltrated Israel from the Gaza Strip on Monday evening, likely through a tunnel. IDF troops killed at least one of them. Earlier the army said all four were hit by IDF fire.
The IDF was still searching the area for possible additional terrorists, and was firing heavy artillery fire at the area in the Strip from which the terrorists came. The Palestinians reported the army was firing at the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza and near a mosque in northern Gaza.
Hamas' military wing said it sent nine militants to try and kidnap a soldier, but the "conditions" did not allow it.
Earlier, the state of alert has been raised in the Sha'ar HaNegev Regional Council and residents were asked to stay in their homes.
