Prison commander: I was fired for refusing Ben Gvir's demands for benefits to Jewish terrorists

|
The former commander of Ayalon Prison, Deputy Warden Shai Fransa, claims he was pressured by National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir and other senior officials to grant improper benefits to Jewish security prisoners. This emerges from a petition he filed with the High Court of Justice, which includes WhatsApp correspondence and documentation that allegedly show attempts to pressure him to ease imprisonment conditions, cancel punishments, or avoid imposing sanctions, including for Amiram Ben-Uliel. He also claimed that due to his refusal to cooperate, a sexual harassment case was "fabricated" against him, which was later closed on grounds of "no criminal guilt." Despite this, he was removed from his position and ended his service.
