The IDF announced that a police investigation has been opened following reports of a Palestinian who was shot to death in the village of Deir Dibwan in the Ramallah area, after soldiers detained Palestinian suspects who threw stones at Israeli hikers. It was also stated that the hikers' entry into the village was not coordinated as required.
