Tel Aviv residents could not believe their eyes on Friday morning when they discovered snow covering Rabin Square.
Early on Friday morning, two trucks arrived at the square and unloaded 50 cubic meters of snow, brought straight from Mount Hermon.
The snow was there as part of the filming for a movie titled, well, "Snow."

Children who passed by with their parents took advantage of the opportunity to play in the white movie set before it melted.
A passerby told Ynet, "For me, it's not really that exciting, but for this little guy, it's really cool. We were in the area and we came to have a look."

The short drama movie, starring Israeli actors Orly Silbersatz Banai and Alon Oleartchik, tells the story of a family who lives near the square, and is facing eviction. In that hard morning, the municipality organizes a surprise for the residents, and brings trucks with snow to the square.
