Sderot municipality updated its residents following reports of shooting at Yad Mordechai Junction, stating that the entrance to the city from Highway 34 near Nir Am Junction has been blocked. The municipality added that security and police forces are conducting patrols and searches for suspects while the circumstances are being investigated. Meanwhile, kibbutzim and moshavim in the area have closed their gates.
