Health Ministry Director-General Moshe Bar Siman-Tov addressed the emigration of doctors from Israel at a conference marking 30 years of the National Health Insurance Law, saying he is aware of the situation. "We are not ignoring this, we are monitoring it and taking action on the matter," he added. "We are working with hospitals to maintain contact with them and assure them that they can return here. We have a dedicated task force for this." He also appealed to those doctors: "Choose the Israeli system. We are committed to maintaining its professionalism and integrity, and ensuring it is one that will allow you to fully utilize your professional capabilities and live meaningful lives."
