Reserve soldiers of Brigade 646 destroyed a tunnel shaft in a residential building in the Shejaiya neighborhood of Gaza City in the northern Gaza Strip, along with a 500-meter underground passage, according to the IDF spokesperson. Additionally, the forces destroyed more than 500 terror infrastructure sites above and below ground, including military buildings, and eliminated dozens of militants in the Shejaiya and Daraj Tuffah neighborhoods of the city. In another operation, the troops identified a militant attempting to fire a mortar shell toward the forces, who was eliminated by an aircraft from the air.
