Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel-Aty met with American envoy Thomas Burk on the sidelines of the Doha Forum. The two discussed recent developments in Syria and "strengthening coordination to reduce escalation and stability in the region." Abdel-Aty also met with Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani. During the forum, he argued that an international stabilization force should be deployed along the Yellow Line in the Gaza Strip to establish a ceasefire.
