Unity Party Chairman Gilad Erdan announced that the party will not run in the upcoming Knesset elections. "Unfortunately, after about a month of campaigning, reality shows that in the upcoming elections, a large majority of the public primarily seeks a clear decision on the question of the prime minister's identity, and the need for a broad unity government is not high on citizens' priority list," he said. "Despite our many efforts, the support for the Unity Party so far does not guarantee a high probability of passing the electoral threshold, and the possibilities of joining with other parties in the unity bloc are also not materializing."
