Fighters from the Givati Brigade under the command of the 91st Division encountered armed terrorists from Hezbollah's "Radwan Force" in southern Lebanon and arrested several of them. According to the IDF Spokesperson, "The terrorists planned to fire an anti-tank missile at the forces and planned to advance firing routes toward northern communities. Shortly after identification, the forces arrested the terrorists after they surrendered and located weapons and numerous combat equipment. During the night, the forces destroyed the structure from which the terrorists operated." It was also reported that "preliminary interrogation reveals that the terrorists arrived from the Bekaa region to southern Lebanon at the beginning of Operation 'Lion's Roar.' This contradicts the claims of the Lebanese army regarding achieving operational control south of the Litani."
