A preliminary report on the investigation of the fatal Boeing aircraft crash of Air India in Ahmedabad, India - which led to the death of 260 people - indicates that the fuel cutoff switches of the plane's engines moved from 'run' to 'cutoff' position within seconds of each other. The Indian body investigating the fatal crash stated that "for now there is no recommendation to take action against the operators or manufacturers of the aircraft or engines."
