A senior American official told the Qatari television station "Al Jazeera" that "talks on moving to the second phase of the Gaza agreement are advancing despite all the difficulties. We expect that the initial deployment of the stability force in Gaza will take place in early 2026, with the participation of one or two countries at the beginning." Additionally, the official said: "The International Stabilization Force (ISF) will not be deployed in areas controlled by Hamas in the Strip. We are conducting talks with several countries, including Arab nations, regarding their contribution to the force. The U.S. is involved in discussions to establish a Palestinian police force in Gaza."
