Spain, Slovenia and Ireland to EU: Suspend association agreement with Israel

|
Spain, Slovenia and Ireland have asked the European Union to discuss suspending the association agreement with Israel. Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares said this ahead of a meeting of EU foreign ministers today in Luxembourg. The agreement, signed in 1995, provides a legal framework for relations between the union and Israel, including on economic, trade and political matters.
