According to the indictment, Krindi arrived at the junction where protesters were blocking traffic to read out the names of hostages, riding a motorcycle. The defendant drove toward the protester and demanded he clear the way, and when he refused, pushed him and attacked him with punches to his face. After the assault, he fled the scene. The indictment charges him with assault causing actual bodily harm to an elderly person and reckless driving.
