The Likud party attacked Israel Beiteinu chairman Avigdor Lieberman, who said during his faction meeting that "soldiers in Gaza fell on the altar of preserving the coalition." The Likud statement said, "Lieberman, who sat with the Muslim Brotherhood and terror supporters, avoided eliminating Hamas leaders for fear their impure coalition would fall apart. While our soldiers' blood is being spilled in the mission to free our hostages and defeat Hamas, he dishonors and exploits their sacred deaths as a disgraceful political tool. He should be ashamed."
