The National Cyber Authority and National Digital Authority are warning the public about a malicious website collecting personal information from Israeli citizens staying abroad. The site was distributed for several hours through digital advertisements of government campaigns appearing on various websites. Preliminary investigation indicates that the distribution source is a breach of private company advertising accounts, which led to redirecting users to the fraudulent link. The government's cyber unit, National Digital Authority, and National Cyber Authority worked with the provider to stop the redirections. The Cyber Authority announced that any citizen who entered their details on the website is requested to report immediately to the police.
