Druze Leader: 'Attack on synagogue or any holy site is a red line'

|
The head of the Druze community, Sheikh Mowafaq Tarif, also condemned the arson of former Chief Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef's synagogue in Jerusalem, stating: "I express revulsion and strongly condemn this criminal act that damaged a holy place meant to connect worshippers with God. As a religious leader and as a human being, I am horrified to see the images of burned holy books. Burning a synagogue, and any attack on it or any house of prayer or holy site, is a red line that cannot be tolerated in any country, certainly not in the State of Israel."
