The Meteorological Service issued a yellow warning for thunderstorms and lightning in the southern Judean Desert and Dead Sea, eastern Negev, Eilat Mountains and Arava, expected to continue until approximately 6:00 PM. It was reported that there may be local disruption to electricity supply, local damage to buildings and infrastructure due to lightning strikes or strong gusts of wind, and risk of harm to aircraft and watercraft. Avoid staying in open areas or near tall objects and beware of objects that may be blown by the wind. Tomorrow from midday until evening, similar weather is expected in these areas.
