IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir visited the Benjamin Regional Brigade together with the commander of the Judea and Samaria Division, Brigadier General Yaki Dolf, the commander of the Benjamin Brigade, Lieutenant Colonel A., and the commander of Battalion 7114, Lieutenant Colonel G. The Chief of Staff conducted a preliminary investigation into the violent incident by settlers against IDF forces that occurred last night and noted that he fully backs the commanders' conduct and their actions. During the visit, the Chief of Staff said, "The violent riots harm our ability to perform our mission - maintaining the fabric of life, protecting settlements and residents, and thwarting terrorism. I expect all law enforcement agencies, legal authorities and welfare agencies to address this phenomenon."
