One of the border police officers investigated under caution by the Police Internal Investigations Department on suspicion of car theft is the son of a security agency chief. The department yesterday questioned three border police officers under caution who, according to the suspicion, spotted a parked car with keys inside during a patrol in the Jerusalem envelope. Without any legal authority, the three drove off with it, causing damage to nearby vehicles before abandoning it without reporting to their superiors. At the end of their interrogation, the three were released with a restraining order barring them from police facilities for 15 days.
