Due to remarks against chief military prosecutor: Military rabbi Aviad Gadot's call-up suspended, service to be reviewed

|
The IDF has decided to stop calling up military rabbi Aviad Gadot for reserve duty, following a post against the Chief Military Advocate General, Major General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi. Gadot is one of the leaders of the "Torah of Combat" organization, which published the following post on X in June: "What do you think about a foot patrol for the chief military prosecutor in the Kasbah of Nablus during high friction with the terrorist population in the city, before she gives orders to soldiers in Samaria?" IDF Spokesperson stated: "The IDF condemns such statements against commanders and service members. It was decided to stop calling up this reservist for military service. The continuation of his service will be reviewed by commanders."
