President Isaac Herzog will award the 'President's Medal' to 9 individuals "who have made a unique contribution to the State of Israel," including Prof. Avi Ori, retired Justice George Karra, author Galila Ron-Feder-Amit, Prof. Dina Porat, Dr. Yossi Vardi, Sheikh Mowafak Tarif, Moti Malka, Dr. Miriam Adelson and Matthias Döpfner. The President's Residence announced that the medal will be awarded in an official ceremony expected to take place after the Tishrei holidays.
