Reyes Rigo Servia is the Spanish activist from the Gaza flotilla who bit a medical staff member from the Israel Prison Service yesterday, was arrested and is being held by the police. A request has been filed to extend her detention by seven days - after it initially appeared she would be deported. Rigo, who works as a Chinese acupuncture therapist, also participated in the global march to the Gaza Strip this past June - which was stopped by authorities in Cairo before reaching its destination.
